TESTING SHOWTIME

FROM THE SHOP TO THE WATER.

SHOWTIME moved beyond the workbench and into testing.

The late Sean McKean was behind the wheel for this piece of RGE history.

03 / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

AN IDEA HAS TO
BE BUILDABLE.

FROM CONCEPT
TO PRODUCTION.

The Galletta aerator shows another side of mechanical development: taking an idea beyond the prototype and toward repeatable manufacture.

This historical Triton Metals interview documents part of that development story.

04 / CUSTOM COMPONENTS

WHEN THE PART
DOESN'T EXIST,
YOU MAKE IT.

OFF-THE-SHELF ISN'T ALWAYS THE ANSWER.

Mechanical development sometimes requires components made for the problem at hand.

In this short shop demonstration, Robby shows custom components from the hands-on side of RGE development.

05 / DIAGNOSIS

FIND THE PROBLEM.

PROCESS / 04 TEST

TESTING TELLS YOU
WHAT THE DRAWING CAN'T.

Testing is where assumptions meet the machine.

During SHOWTIME development, investigation of the engine components revealed a casting flaw while the ports were being examined.

Finding the problem is part of building the solution.
